The following text and images have very kindly been submitted by Donna Fraser from Canada.
My husband’s Fraser family lived at Greystonefolds from 1780 for about 100 years and then to Howmill and from there to Mill of Cairnborrow where Peter Fraser (1853-1912) was living at the time of his death. He is identified in this photo taken about 1905.

The little girl with him is thought to be his granddaughter Georgina “Ina” Fraser born in 1900 in Huntly. She married George Ross in Huntly in 1921 and was 93 years old when she died in Huntly in 1994.
I’ve read that itinerant photographers used to travel the rural areas and take photographs of farm workers and am wondering if the attached might be one of those photos. There is no identification as to the name of the photographer.

Very interested in the photo. Georgina was my grandmother. I have a photo of a farm worker titled a ‘Banff shire farmer ‘ which my nan said was taken by a photographer and he was my great great grandfather. Best wishes Sandra Jinks
