Summer Events Update!
In June a good group of walkers managed the 10 mile hike and returned to the hall for a bbq and a well earned rest! The walkers raised £1038 in sponsorship, so many thank to all walkers and those who sponsored them. A great day and a great sum, we shall be donating some of these funds to the Sunrise Partnership, this is a charity supporting you children through loss and bereavement.
Last week we had our annual duck race and this year we had a bake off competition. The ducks were all sold and sailed down the burn, with glasses lost again but not recovered unfortunately!
We raised £430.00 from the duck sales.
