Summer has yet to arrive in Glass but we do all look forward to some summer sunshine! I hope for those who supported the plant sale that your plants are blooming. It’s great to see once again the baskets and tubs at the Hall even if the rabbits have attacked! Thanks to Bob and Lorna Yuill for making Glass look like summer has arrived!

Events so far this year
We have already had a very successful Easter event for the young and young at heart. A great afternoon of activities enjoyed by everyone. We also had a six week keep fit class which was well supported and will hopefully return in the autumn. We then had a busy plant sale with teas served and recently we had a very successful sponsored walk. There were over 40 walkers this year returning to a BBQ at the hall. The walking group walked up Ben Rinnes once again on a very pleasant evening; they will continue to meet on Wednesday night at the hall at 7pm. Do join them if you can.
We on the committee really do appreciate all the support that everyone in the community gives to the Hall and their efforts in helping to generate the income to keep the hall maintained. We have aspirations for improving the hall and are always happy to hear from the community about any thoughts you may have for using the hall, new clubs to start up or indeed improvements you feel are necessary.
