Here’s an update on the Church repairs from Ted and Hilda Andrews:

So far the northern sections of the roof (over the old part of the building) have been completed and not very much wood needed to be replaced.
There will now be a break of about 3 weeks as the roofers have other jobs to work on.

When the work is completed we hope to have open days so that everyone can see over the church and then perhaps we can talk about other local uses for the church.

If anyone has any old Scottish Slates similar to those on the church please use the Contact Us page here  and you’ll be put you in touch with Ted and Hilda as they are not sure if they have enough for the remaining work.

Please be aware that scaffolding will still be onsite so exercise caution if you are around the church.
