Ride the North is a cycle challenge in support of the fight against urological cancer. A 220 mile circuit of Scotland’s North East completed over three days in June 2011 will raise funds for UCAN, supporting efforts to develop a centre of excellence for care and treatment of patients across the North of Scotland.
Around 40 cyclists will be in the area of Glass Hall on Friday this week as part of Ride the North stage 2 . They hope to be at the Hall about 10.30am coming from Cullen and will be heading up over the Cabrach for Kildrummy about 11.30am. Timings approximate.
Members of the Glass Community Association will welcome the Cyclists to our area by providing some light refreshments and homebakes at the Glass Hall.
Please be aware you may meet the Cyclists on the roads around Glass if you are out during Friday morning.
